Nexus grew up in a quiet town outside of Neoterra and passed away at the age of 13. A doppelgänger took over his body and stalked towards the heart of Neoterra to escape from his hometown. Arriving in the city battered and bruised, he caught the immediate attention of Codi, a social worker, who took him to the local youth shelter for medical care. Once he was stable, Codi opened a case through the Neoterra Youth Care Services (NYCS), giving him access to housing, counseling, and basic education while he adjusted to the city.

Despite the safety NYCS offered, Nexus struggled to settle in. He carried memories and instincts that didn’t feel like his own, leaving him restless and unsure of who he was. Codi remained patient, encouraging him to attend counseling and slowly rebuild his sense of self.

As Nexus grew older, Codi helped him finish school and connected him with a local job training program. He worked a string of part-time jobs before finding his footing in security work, completing the training needed to earn his license. By adulthood, Nexus had a steady job working security for a local mall.

During a high-profile event at the mall—a pop-up fashion show and performance—Nexus’s calm professionalism and quick thinking during a sudden crowd surge caught the attention of the event’s head security and the star guest, Enzo. Impressed by Nexus’s skill and composure, Enzo began hiring him for personal events in Corav, the city of nonstop nightlife and celebrity chaos. Eventually, Nexus moved to Corav full-time, becoming Enzo’s dedicated personal security in a world far louder and wilder than the one he grew up in.

Appearance

Nexus has pale skin with a warm undertone and short auburn hair he keeps gelled up in a quiff. He wears formalwear mixed with ravewear, such as a black wing-collared jacket with a neon green trim, a white turtleneck, black dress pants, black business shoes with neon green soles, black gloves, and a black full-face mask with LED lights that change shape and color.

Additionally, he has neon green lower helix piercings and an Attica Star necklace as accessories.

Relationships

Enzo

Nexus works as Enzo’s personal security and has a deep, trusting bond with him. He is highly protective, keeping Enzo safe in chaotic situations and always attentive to his needs. Their relationship balances professionalism with personal loyalty and care.

Codi

Codi acted as a guardian and mentor for Nexus when he first arrived in Neoterra. They supported him through housing, education, and counseling, helping him rebuild his sense of self. Nexus respects and trusts Codi, deeply appreciating the guidance and stability they provided early in his life.
