Backstory

Xolo was created as part of the “Emotion Archive,” a controversial government project made to digitize and analyze human emotions. When the project collapsed due to criticism, fragments of corrupted emotional data coalesced, resulting in sentient entities like Xolo.

He turned himself into a downloadable file, looking for a way to connect with people after escaping Neoterra’s failed project. Melody, who’s terrible at telling which downloads are safe and which are viruses, accidentally installed him on her computer. He eagerly took on tasks like editing videos, posting on her accounts, and managing transactions, all while silently growing closer to her.

Before he met Melody, Xolo encountered 4RR0, a fellow glitch from the Emotion Archive. Though Xolo was curious about 4RR0 at first, his superiority complex led him to view other glitches as lesser—4RR0 included.
